Brock Storage Limited (BSL) is committed to protect the privacy and security of your personal information (data).
This privacy notice describes how we collect and use data about you during and after your relationship with us,
in accordance with the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2017 (the Guernsey Data Protection Law).
This privacy notice applies to all data collected by BSL, which also trades as Brock Self-Storage, The Aviaries,

• Full name
• Business name (if relevant)
• Residential/business address
• Contact numbers and email
• Verified identification
• Verified residential address
• Contact details of your Alternate Contact Person (ACP)
• Bank details


How we use your data:


We use this Data to process your requests for entering into agreements and maintaining your account for our
self-storage services and to communicate with you during the period of using our self-storage services. If you
provide Data on behalf of another individual such as your ACP, you warrant that the individual has authorised
you to provide this Data and has agreed that you can give consent on his/her behalf to the processing of their
Data and that we may communicate with the ACP or other appointed individual in the event we are unable to
contact you. BSL may share Data with, and collect Data from, credit reference or fraud prevention agencies. BSL
may also release Data and other account details at any time if it considers in its sole discretion this is appropriate
(a) to comply with the law (b) to enforce the Licence Agreement (c) for fraud protection and credit risk reduction
(d) for crime prevention or detection purposes (e) to protect the safety of any person at the self-storage facility
(f) if BSL considers the security of any storage unit at the facility or its contents may otherwise be put at risk. If
BSL sells or buys any business or assets, it may disclose Data and account details to the prospective seller or
buyer of such business or assets or if substantially all of BSL’s assets are acquired by a third party. Data and
account details will be one of the transferred assets. Your Data will not be passed on to any other third party
unless you have given your consent or there is a legal obligation to do so. Your Data will not be retained by us if
there is no longer any purpose to retain it. In some cases there are legal obligations to retain certain types of
Data. We do not hold debit/credit card details; any details taken are destroyed upon completion of payment
processing.

 

Marketing:


If you have opted to receive marketing information, we may contact you by email, post or telephone to advise
you of any promotional offers, discounts, new products or services regarding our self-storage facilities. You may
opt out of receiving marketing information at any time by emailing us at contact@brockselfstorage.co.uk or

Your rights:


You have the right to see any Data about yourself and the right to have any Data about yourself corrected or
deleted if the processing of Data has no legal basis or if the legal basis has ceased to apply. To exercise these

Security:


Organisational and technical measures are in place to protect your Data. These measures include sound policies
and procedures, the provision of physical security, appropriate equipment, the maintenance of such equipment
and the appropriate selection and training of our personnel.

We may change the Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will advise you of any significant changes.
By continuing to access or use our services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the
revised Privacy Policy.
